Assistant in strategic purchasing
Balmung Medical Handel is an owner-managed trading company for medical products that focuses on customer satisfaction. Infusion therapy, sample collection, infection prevention, urology, diagnostic and laboratory equipment, surgery and respiration - we have been advising and supplying our customers in these areas for over 20 years. We are looking for a committed team player to strengthen our strategic purchasing department as soon as possible.
Your tasks
- Carrying out market analyses to identify new procurement sources
- Support with contract negotiations and supplier management
- Coordination and maintenance of supplier and article data in our system
- Operational communication with suppliers
- Participation in the optimization of purchasing processes and the development of strategic procurement measures
- Creation of reports, evaluations and presentations to support decision-making
- Close cooperation with internal departments such as product management, sales and logistics
Your profile
- Completed commercial training
- Ideally already professional experience (as an assistant) in strategic purchasing
- Logical understanding of calculations and data preparation
- Good MS Office skills (especially MS Excel)
- Good written and spoken German & English language skills

Salary
The minimum salary for this position is € 3.200,- gross per month full-time (38,5h) according to the collective agreement. The actual salary depends on your qualifications and professional experience.
