Construction Site Tour in Kirchbichl: A Glimpse into Our Future

This week, our employees had their first opportunity to tour the construction site of the North Logistics Hall at HorizonQuarter in Kirchbichl—the future location of Balmung Medical.

During our site visit, we gained fascinating insights into the current progress of construction and experienced the impressive scale of the new warehouse firsthand. The first of two planned warehouses on the approximately 53,000-square-meter site stands out not only for its spacious storage areas but also for its modern office and common areas, including a kitchen and break rooms.

Standing nearly 20 meters tall and with a capacity for approximately 18,000 pallets, the new logistics center opens up entirely new possibilities. Through the use of modern technologies and optimized processes, receiving, storage, and shipping will be significantly more efficient and effective in the future.

Construction is proceeding according to schedule: the structural work is already complete, large sections of the facade and roof have been finished, and progress is visible week by week. The logistics center is scheduled to open in the summer of 2026.

With this project, we are not only creating additional capacity and greater reliability for our customers, but also modern and attractive working conditions for our team.
