Balmung continues to expand!

Shaping, deciding and growing together.

Balmung has made a name for itself not least through the purchase of the Perlmooser site. The owner-managed company has been operating successfully on the global healthcare market for years. With a turnover of around 330 million, it is one of the largest companies in Tyrol. The management is aware of the importance of employee satisfaction for success. In general, great importance is attached to a pleasant working environment. Therefore, the well-being of the employees was already taken into account in the planning of the new headquarters in Kirchbichl. The generously designed campus with extensive green areas has open workspaces embedded in the most modern infrastructure - bright and flooded with light. People spend many hours a day at their workplace.

Therefore, Balmung is very concerned that the employees also feel comfortable there. This in turn benefits the company. The employees are, so to speak, the engine of the operational business. A company canteen of a high culinary standard is therefore planned, as well as a fitness studio.

In total, a modern company complex will be built on a 50,000 square meter site over the next 18 months. This will create 300 modern jobs in the Tyrolean lowlands. It is planned to massively expand the research and development department in order to guarantee the sustainable growth of the company. The direct rail connection is particularly important for the European logistics center with fully automated high-bay warehouse. Lean structures and flat hierarchies make it possible to act quickly on the market. Together with the company's own Big Data solution and technological edge, steady growth is guaranteed.

"We have very ambitious goals and for this we need equally motivated employees. Our ambition is to be closer to the customer and to generate a competitive edge through short decision-making processes. We do not sell products, but offer individual problem solutions for our customers". - says Managing Director Engelbert Leobacher.
